The Reds will go into the game this weekend with the knowledge that Andrew Robertson and Mohamed Salah could feature after the official club website pictured them back in full training, and that is a massive bonus.

Palace will always have a little bit of a reputation after they derailed Brendan Rodgers’ Premier League title bid with their late goals, but this version of Liverpool should be more than capable of avoiding that banana skin.

Napoli are the next team to take on the Reds as they’ll pose a midweek Champions League problem, but for now Jurgen Klopp must focus on the league and we can all expect a full strength side to be fielded.

The main selection dilemma comes from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has done all he can to make his case for inclusion on Saturday. The midfielder followed up his encouraging Carabao Cup and UCL performances with a goal and assist for England – Klopp must be thinking hard.

Otherwise we pretty much know the side Klopp will put out already. If Robertson or Salah are ruled out things might get interesting, but there should be enough cover in the squad to mean the team won’t be depleted too much.

Palace are an odd side and boast two of the best wingers in the league. Wilfried Zaha is a top class player who will keep defenders honest, while Andros Townsend is a Premier League veteran know with enough in his locker to win games by himself.
