Jurgen Klopp lined the Reds up as expected with only one change from the side that beat Wolves 1-0 on Sunday. Naby Keita was put in for Adam Lallana but injured his groin in the warmup and was replaced by James Milner in midfield as the boss stuck with as strong as side as possible; ready to rest players in the FA Cup game against Everton this Sunday evening.
An early goal from Mohamed Salah gave the Reds an advantage they would not concede before Sadio Mane’s second half goal sealed the points. The Blades only had one real chance – late in the second half – and must be glad to have their visit to Anfield out-of-the-way.
