Liverpool linked with jaw dropping £250m bid for world superstar
Liverpool have been linked with a jaw dropping £250m bid for world superstar, but on one surprising condition.
And as usual, this is about Liverpool’s forward line. Despite having three incredible players in the starting side, people just want more.
It’s true that we need someone else in to compliment Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, whispers that one of the trio might depart in the summer are surely well off the mark.
Firmino could be more prolific in front of goal, but his workrate and creativity are so good that his poor goalscoring record can be swept under the carpet.
But Mane and Salah are true global superstars of the game and their goalscoring exploits would be highly missed if they ever walked out of Liverpool.
So it’s odd that articles are linking players with a move to Anfield, but on the condition of one of the best players leaving. With Divock Origi failing to hit the heights we predicted him to at the end of the season, but armed with a new five-year contract, it could be difficult moving the Belgian on at the end of the campaign.

This is exactly what the Mirror are saying.
According to the newspaper report, Liverpool are going to make a massive £250 million bid for Paris Saint Germain start Kylian Mbappe. Have a think of that.
They’ve wrote that Mane could be sold to Real Madrid for a large sum, and that money used to bring in the French superstar. Imagine having him in the side with Firmino and Salah. The pace and power would be too much to handle.
Whether or not Liverpool have the stones to spend so much money on one player is another matter entirely. Even though Kylian Mbappe has praised the club before, the owners don’t often go out and make huge, flashy signings.
Any big moves away tend to be used as an opportunity to reinvest wisely. The Philippe Coutinho money was used across three positions and that’s helped Liverpool to become a much better team in the process.
So would Liverpool really spend that much on one man? We’ll have to wait and see.
