The media trolling around the potential sale of Mohamed Salah has already begun with TalkSport doing their best to wind up Liverpool fans.

Mohamed Salah is amazing and rival fans are not happy about it. Seeing as most of the media has leanings to other clubs they are not best pleased about it either. So we are already seeing the ‘rumour mill’ cranking up into action about how Liverpool will sell Salah.

TalkSport are the latest media outlet to troll Liverpool fans with an article claiming ‘proof’ that Salah will leave soon. That ‘proof’ is a list of players Liverpool have sold which are Alonso, Mascherano, Torres, Suarez, Sterling and Coutinho (remember him?).

Of course this is just click bait. Barcelona sold Neymar last year and they aren’t about to sell Messi. Players move. There is absolutely no indication from player, agent or club that a sale of Salah will happen any time soon. In fact Jurgen Klopp has repeatedly stated his desire to keep this group together. Try again lads.

Liverpool fans have some history with TalkSport. Last year the radio station refused to sack presenter Mike Graham after he called Liverpool fans ‘murderers’ in reference to the Heysel disaster in 1985.

The fanbase also have a spiky relationship with Richard Keys, one of their leading presenters. His pre-season prediction that Everton would finish above Liverpool is just another example of that organisation’s anti-Liverpool bias.

Next: Fans can't wait for this transfer to be announced!

With only the dreary prospect of international friendlies over the next two weeks many media outlets will be trying to drum up some clicks through provocation. Don’t fall for it!
