The rumours surrounding the future of goalkeeper Simon Mignolet continue to rumble on, but luckily it does appear as if foreign clubs have maintained an interest in the Belgian.

Napoli want to bring Mignolet to the Serie A, said this report, and they are willing to pay £9 million in order to seal the deal. Clearly, Liverpool should bite their hand off.

Alisson Becker’s arrival has destroyed the Loris Karius vs Migs debate forever. The ex-Sunderland man is now firmly the third choice, which isn’t really fair on him considering his ability. It’s also a position Mignolet wouldn’t have been in much over the course of his career.

Besiktas are also interested in the goalkeeper, added the article, which could spark a nice little bidding war for the Belgian that may drive up his price. Or so everyone at the club would hope.
