This is the latest Liverpool injury news.

Liverpool take on Everton on the 21 June as they look to win the league at Goodison Park.

In order for that to happen, Arsenal have to upset Manchester City on June 17. That game should be an exciting one, with former City assistant Mikel Arteta taking over from Unai Emery.

Jurgen Klopp has been building up to the Merseyside Derby and recently saw off Blackburn Rovers 6-0 in a friendly.

Players like James Milner and Naby Keita impressed during the Rovers game, and now they should be fit and ready to go against Everton.

Injuries have dogged the Liverpool campaign over the past year as we’ve seen Joel Matip, Fabinho, Alisson, Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson struck down.

Xherdan Shaqiri has also seen more of the treatment table than the grass, while Mohamed Salah suffered his own injury scare.

However, things are starting to get better.

The Daily Mail’s Dominic King has reported that there are no injury concerns as the team got through an internal friendly with no additional problems.

That means we could see a full strength team for the Merseyside derby – a game that doesn’t always come with that guarantee.

Back in December, players like Shaqiri and Divock Origi were handed a place in the first XI and it came off extremely well as they both scored and looked like they would really kick on.

None of that happened in the end, while Shaq has had his awful injury problems this season.

With a full strength squad available to Klopp, there’s every chance the pair won’t see much game time over the next few games.

Injuries are going to play a big part moving forward, so it’ll be up to Klopp to make sure everyone is fresh and ready to go.

Using five substitutes will be a key role in this, an Liverpool are in an excellent position to do just that.
