Liverpool lineup vs City: No Jones or Kabak, Mane back in
RB – Trent Alexander-Arnold
The 22-year-old had some pretty good games against Tottenham and West Ham. He’ll be needed to be at his best if his team are to beat City.
Alexander-Arnold’s previous meeting against City ended badly as he was forced to walk off the pitch due to an injury which went on to keep him out for a while. He’ll be looking to put in a solid performance on the right flank and grab an assist or two on Sunday.

CB – Jordan Henderson
It is highly unlikely that Klopp will hand 20-year-old Ozan Kabak his Liverpool debut in such an important game so the club’s captain will get another start at center-back.
Henderson has so far done pretty well at the heart defense and will be keen on putting a solid performance against City. The England international could also aid Liverpool offensively through his long balls.
CB – Fabinho
The Brazilian missed Liverpool’s last few games due to an injury. Klopp said that he could be in contention to start against Man City and given that he trained with the team on Saturday, there’s a very good chance of Fabinho starting.
The 27-year-old will be needed to be at his best if he’s to prevent the likes of Sterling, Jesus and the other opposition attackers from threatening the Liverpool goal.
LB – Andy Robertson
The Scottish international has been one of Liverpool’s best players this season and will be needed to bring on his A-game if they are to win this weekend.
Robertson will be expected to defend solidly and get an assist or two against City.
